Plan for a city break or a longer Turkey itinerary

For a short Istanbul visit, think about the connections you need between arrival, accommodation and your return journey. Save the address of your accommodation and arrival directions before departure. A small plan can be practical if you mostly use messages and navigation, but video and photo uploads change the calculation.

If your itinerary also includes Antalya or Cappadocia, compare the full trip length rather than buying for only the first stop. Keep offline directions for travel days and check the selected plan’s network information for the areas you intend to visit.

Will a Europe eSIM cover Turkey?

Only if Turkey is explicitly included in that plan’s country list. Do not infer coverage from a regional title. A Turkey-only plan also should not be assumed to cover a later stop in another country.

Check the supported-country list for the exact plan in the app. Local signal, your device and the selected network affect the connection; a coverage code is not a promise of service at every location.

Get ready before departure

The selected catalog plans list the first network connection as their billing start. Follow the exact order instructions and avoid connecting to a supported network before you intend to start the plan.

1. Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
2. Buy the plan in Stellar eSIM and follow its installation steps over a reliable connection.
3. When you are ready to use it, select the travel eSIM for mobile data and follow its roaming instructions.
4. Test a small web page and monitor the remaining data during the trip.

Stellar VPN is included for your eSIM plan’s validity period. Set up the separate VPN app using the access details supplied with your order; the eSIM purchase does not automatically connect the VPN.
